In the fight to interrupt transmission of COVID-19 from person to person, certain strategic measures and protocols have to be implemented in businesses, schools, stores, hospitals etc. Such measures include social distancing, proper handwashing and sanitising, the use of Personal Protection Equipment and isolation measures. 24 Hour Print supports these measures by offering the addition of signage and PPE equipment to our branding and signage arsenal. COVID-19 has brought South Africa and the globe to her knees, meaning extraordinary measures and new ways of working and living have become the new normal. In response to this pandemic, 24 Hour Print is geared to provide a myriad of signage and personal protective solutions aimed at dealing with the COVID-19 situation effectively. As the effects of COVID-19 will be a legitimate concern for the foreseeable future, the responsibility of dealing with this pandemic lies with each business and individual, in every capacity as a colleague, business owner, consumer, relative, parent, teacher etc. In these unprecedented times, the future economic landscape will depend on the measures we implement now and carry forward to give every person and business the best chance at surviving this global pandemic. As your partner in signage and branding, 24 Hour Print is bolstering our product offerings to include COVID-19 specific safety signage solutions, counter graphics, posters, social distancing stickers and floor graphics. Additionally, we have added a Personal Protection Equipment offering which includes face shields, Perspex dividers and sneeze and cough guards. The importance of maintaining hygiene and safety standards has certainly been ramped up recently and will continue to become the norm. Raising awareness of proper hygiene protocols such as handwashing guidelines, social distancing protocols and sneezing or coughing etiquette is paramount to protecting employees and customers alike. These awareness protocols also go a long way to making people feel like they are safe and that establishments take the wellbeing of everyone in the vicinity to heart. This further solidifies brand loyalty and authority in the minds of everyone concerned.
Protection measures against COVID-19
The World Health Organisation/WHO recommend the following protection measures: Regularly wash your hands with soap and water and wash them thoroughly. Regularly disinfect your hands with an alcohol-based sanitiser with an alcohol content of at least 70%. Maintain a distance of at least 1 metre from those who are sneezing or coughing. Avoid touching your face. Follow proper respiratory hygiene by covering your mouth or nose when coughing or sneezing into your bent elbow or into a tissue (the tissue should be disposed of immediately). Stay home if you have cold or flu like symptoms and follow the directions of your local health authority. Avoid travelling in identified COVID-19 hotspots especially if you suffer from diabetes, a lung or heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure or are an elderly person. Besides these measures, the South African Government instituted strict regulations that should be adhered to by Essential Service Providers such as grocery stores, pharmacies etc. Controls that ensure consumers are kept apart by at least one square meter from each other are required as well as directions and notices in respect of hygiene protocols. In a bid to adhere to these regulations, business owners should ensure that all safety and hygiene measures are adhered to – which is where we come in. We manufacture all the essential signage solutions required to do so. Get in contact with your local 24 Hour Print store for a quote on COVID-19 signage items.

Allow safe navigation with social distancing stickers
Social distancing stickers has become more than just the latest buzzword, it has become a necessity to actively reduce the transmission of the deadly coronavirus disease COVID-19. The aspect of physical distancing exists to ensure transmission is kept at a minimum, as virus carriers may be asymptomatic (show no signs of COVID-19) and unknowingly spread the virus. Although the best way to limit the spread of this virus is to avoid or limit face-to-face contact, it is not practical when people require necessities or care. Therefore, the best way to approach physical distancing is by social distancing where people move and stand next to each other with at least a 1-2m space between them on all sides.
