Artwork requirements
- Set your document to 594 x 841 mm and export as PDF.
- Images at 150 dpi minimum at A1 size; 200 to 300 dpi for photos viewed closely.
- Add 3 mm bleed when colour runs to the edge.
- Keep text and logos at least 15 mm inside the edge, more if the print will be framed.
- Headline text of 72 pt or larger reads well from a few metres.
- For plans, state the drawing scale; scaling from another size changes the scale.

Turnaround options
Standard turnaround is confirmed on your quote. Express moves your A1 prints forward when deadlines are tight. Same-day production may be possible for print-ready A1 files approved and paid for before the configured cutoff, subject to capacity and paper stock. Foam board mounting, lamination, larger quantities, and artwork that needs bleed added or resizing are the common reasons a job moves to express or standard. Production completion and delivery arrival are separate.

Same-day conditions

FAQs
Is A1 big enough for a welcome board?
A1 on foam board is a popular size for wedding and event welcome boards on an easel, readable from a few metres away.
Can you print my A0 file at A1?
Yes. A0 and A1 share the same proportions, so the file scales down without cropping, though text becomes smaller and plan scales change.
Which paper is best for plans?
Bond paper is economical and easy to write on. Choose satin or photo paper when the A1 print is for display.
Do you supply easels?
This service covers printing and mounting. Easels are not included unless they are offered with the product in the shop or quote.
