Artwork requirements

  • Supply a PDF at final trim size with 3 mm bleed on every edge.
  • Keep text and logos at least 4 to 5 mm inside the trim, the safe zone.
  • Use CMYK; 300 dpi images at final size.
  • Outline or embed fonts and avoid text smaller than 6 pt.
  • For double-sided flyers, supply front and back as pages 1 and 2 of the same PDF.
  • Check phone numbers, dates and addresses carefully; reprints are new jobs.

Turnaround options

Standard turnaround is confirmed on your quote and gives the best value on larger runs. Express prioritises your flyers on the digital press. Digital printing needs no plates, so same-day production may be possible for print-ready flyers approved and paid for before the configured cutoff, subject to capacity and paper stock. Very large quantities, lamination on card flyers, specialty papers and artwork that needs bleed added or corrections can move a job to express or standard. Ink on gloss stocks also needs a short settling time before guillotining large stacks. Production completion and delivery arrival are separate.

FAQs

Which flyer size is most popular?
A5 is a common choice: big enough for detail but easy to hand out. A6 suits counter drops, and DL fits standard envelopes and rack displays.
Gloss or silk?
Gloss makes images vivid. Silk has a smooth, low-sheen surface that is easier to read and write on. Both are common for flyers.
What is the difference between a flyer and a leaflet?
Here we use flyer for a single flat sheet. Leaflets are folded, for example A4 folded to DL.
Can you design my flyer?
Design can be arranged as a separate artwork service. It adds time, which may affect same-day eligibility.
