Same-Day Invitations

Printed invitations set the tone for weddings, birthdays, corporate launches, school functions and religious celebrations. This service is for hosts who have finalised the wording and design and need cards printed quickly, whether the plans changed or the digital invite simply needs a printed version.

Artwork requirements

Supply a PDF at final trim size with 3 mm bleed; for folded cards, supply the flat spread and indicate the fold.
Proofread names, dates, times, venue names and RSVP details carefully; they are printed exactly as supplied.
Script fonts must be embedded or outlined, and very thin script strokes should not be smaller than they look on screen.
If each card needs a guest name, supply a clean spreadsheet and allow extra time.
Textured board softens fine detail and solid colour, so keep designs with small text on smooth stock.

Turnaround options

Standard turnaround is best for invitations because it allows a printed proof to be checked on the actual board. Express helps when an event is close. Same-day is possible for flat or simply folded invitations on stocked board, subject to product eligibility, stock, capacity, quantity, artwork readiness and finishing, with full payment, usable artwork and approvals before the configured cutoff, and the 40% Same-Day Priority Production surcharge applies to the eligible printing and production subtotal. Guest-name personalisation, foil, die-cut shapes, specialty boards not in stock or envelope requirements we cannot meet on the day push a job off same-day.

This service is priced by quotation so we can match the exact specification, quantity and finishing. Request a quote. Same-day orders add the 40% Same-Day Priority Production surcharge on the eligible production subtotal.

Same-day conditions

Wording and design are final; corrections after approval restart the clock.
The selected board is in stock on the day.
No individual guest names, foil or custom die-cutting is required.
Envelope needs are confirmed and available, or you are sourcing envelopes yourself.
Payment and approval are complete before the configured cutoff; delivery is arranged separately.

FAQs

Can you print each guest's name on the invitation?

Yes, by quote, from a spreadsheet you supply. Personalisation needs extra checking, so it is normally a standard or express job rather than same-day.

Do you supply envelopes?

Matching envelopes are subject to stock. Tell us the card size early so we can confirm what is available before you commit to a same-day print.

Can I see a sample on the real board first?

A printed proof is recommended for invitations, especially on textured or coloured stock. It adds a little time but avoids surprises.

Can you help with the wording or design?

Artwork services are available separately and are charged apart from printing. If design is needed, same-day is only realistic for simple layouts with quick approvals.
