Same-Day DTF Transfers

DTF transfers are printed, powdered and cured designs on PET film that you heat-press onto garments yourself. They are for clothing brands, schools, uniform suppliers and small print shops who own a heat press and want ready-made full-colour transfers without investing in a DTF printer.

Artwork requirements

Supply transparent PNG files at 300 dpi at exact print size, or vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG.
For gang sheets, either send one pre-laid sheet at the agreed width or separate files with quantities for each design.
Leave at least 5 to 10 mm between designs on a gang sheet so they can be cut apart cleanly.
Mirror nothing: DTF film is printed so the design reads correctly once pressed.
Remove semi-transparent pixels, glows and soft shadows, which can print as an unwanted white haze.
Name files clearly with size and quantity, for example logo-front-280mm-x20.

Turnaround options

Standard turnaround is confirmed on your quote and suits regular restocks. Express prioritises printing and curing of your film. Because there is no garment handling, transfers can be one of the quicker products to produce, and same-day production may be possible for print-ready files when approved and paid for before the configured cutoff, subject to capacity on the day. Long gang sheets, high quantities, artwork that needs nesting or background removal, and requests for cutting every design individually can push a job to express or standard. Production completion and delivery arrival are separate commitments, so allow for courier or collection time.

FAQs

What heat press do I need?

A flat heat press with even pressure and accurate temperature control is recommended. Household irons do not give reliable, even heat and pressure, so results are inconsistent.

How long can I store DTF transfers before pressing?

Stored flat, out of direct sun and away from humidity, cured transfers generally keep well for months. Keep them in the bag or between sheets of paper to protect the adhesive.

Why is my transfer not sticking?

Common causes are too little pressure, temperature too low, fabric with moisture in it, or peeling before the film has cooled on a cold-peel transfer. Pre-press the garment for a few seconds and follow the supplied settings.

Can you lay out my gang sheet for me?

Yes, we can arrange your designs on a sheet, but layout work takes time and may move an urgent job off same-day. Sending a ready laid-out sheet is the quickest route.
