Artwork requirements

  • Supply a PDF at the chosen trim size plus 3 mm bleed on all sides.
  • If the reverse will be written on, keep it light in colour and leave a clear panel for the message.
  • If the card will be posted, leave space for an address and stamp, and check current postal requirements yourself.
  • Use high-resolution images (around 300 dpi at final size) for full-bleed photographic fronts.
  • Keep important text at least 4 mm inside the trim.

Turnaround options

Standard turnaround suits planned campaigns and allows for proofing. Express moves the job forward when a launch or event is close. Same-day is possible for standard sizes on stocked board, subject to product eligibility, stock, capacity, quantity, artwork readiness and finishing, with full payment, usable artwork and approvals before the configured cutoff; the 40% Same-Day Priority Production surcharge applies to the eligible printing and production subtotal. One-side lamination, custom sizes, rounded corners on large runs or variable data such as individual names can push a job off same-day.

FAQs

Can you post the cards for me?
We print and finish postcards; we do not offer a mailing service. If you plan to post them, check current postal size and addressing requirements before finalising artwork.
Can I write on the back with a ballpoint?
Yes, if the back is uncoated or left unlaminated. Gloss-laminated surfaces are hard to write on.
Can each card have a different name or code?
Variable data printing is possible by quote, but it adds file preparation and checking time, so it is usually not a same-day job.
What is the difference between a postcard and a flyer?
Postcards are printed on heavier board and are meant to be kept or posted. Flyers use lighter paper and are designed for wide distribution.
