Artwork requirements
- Set up at 297 x 420 mm; add 3 mm bleed if the design runs to the edge.
- Images at 300 dpi at A3 size.
- Keep text at least 5 mm from the trim edge; for edge-to-edge designs, 3 mm bleed is essential.
- Supply PDF with fonts embedded; Word and Excel files should be exported to PDF to keep layout.
- For spreadsheets, set the print area and page orientation before exporting.
- For double-sided sheets, supply pages in order and indicate head-to-head or head-to-foot.

Turnaround options
Standard turnaround is confirmed on your quote. Express prioritises your job on the digital press. A3 digital printing is well suited to urgent work, and same-day production may be possible for print-ready files approved and paid for before the configured cutoff, subject to capacity and paper stock. Lamination, folding or scoring large quantities, heavy card runs and files that need fixing, such as adding bleed or correcting page setup, may move a job to express or standard. Production completion and delivery arrival are separate.

FAQs
Why do I need bleed?
Printers cannot print right to the edge of a sheet. We print on a larger sheet and trim, so artwork must extend 3 mm past the edge to avoid thin white lines.
Can you print A3 double-sided?
Yes. Tell us whether the back should be the same way up as the front or flipped, especially for folded items.
What paper is best for an A3 menu?
A 250 to 350 gsm card, laminated, is durable for menus that are handled often. Silk or gloss paper suits single-use menus.
Can you print my Word document at A3?
Yes, but convert it to PDF first. If it was set up as A4, it will be enlarged, so check that images remain sharp.
