3D Letters and Logos

Three-dimensional letters give a brand name physical depth: they cast shadows, catch light and look intentional on a façade or reception wall. We quote cut and fabricated letters and logo shapes in a range of materials, mounted flush or on stand-offs, lit or unlit. The right choice depends on where the letters will live, how far away people will read them and the surface they are fixing to.

Typical signs in this category

  • Flat-cut acrylic letters for reception walls
  • Fabricated aluminium letters for building façades
  • Brushed or stainless metal-look letters for corporate entrances
  • Logo shapes cut to match letter thickness
  • Letters on stand-off fittings with a shadow gap
  • Halo-lit letters glowing onto the wall behind
  • Letters mounted on a backing panel or rail
  • Address and building-name lettering

Materials

Choosing a size

Letter height is set by viewing distance and the space available. As a rough guide, letters seen from across a parking lot need to be much taller than a name read from the reception desk. Thickness affects presence and shadow: thicker letters look substantial from an angle, while thin flat-cut letters suit minimal interiors. We produce a scaled layout so you can see proportion and spacing before anything is cut.

Standards and compliance

Fixing to a building usually needs landlord or body-corporate approval, and some centres prescribe letter height, colour or position. Lit letters are electrical items and must be connected by suitably qualified people in line with applicable electrical requirements. Permissions are the customer's or landlord's responsibility; we can advise and can assist with layouts for approval.

Same-day conditions

  • Cut and fabricated letters are made to order and are generally not a same-day product; the timeline is confirmed on the quote
  • A printed vinyl logo applied to the wall or glass can sometimes serve as a temporary measure
  • A printed ABS or foam board panel can sometimes be produced urgently for an opening or event while letters are made
  • Urgent stop-gaps depend on stock, capacity, approved artwork and full payment before the configured cutoff

Pricing

Signs are priced by quotation based on size, material, quantity and finishing. Request a quote.

FAQs

What artwork do you need for 3D letters?
Vector artwork of your logo and the exact font is ideal. If you only have a low-resolution image, artwork redrawing may be needed and is quoted separately.
Can letters go on a face brick wall?
Yes, with the right fixings. Uneven surfaces often suit stand-off mounting or a rail system. We check the wall during the site visit.
Will metal-look letters rust?
Material choice matters. We recommend materials suited to outdoor exposure for external use and explain the trade-offs on the quote.
Can you match my brand colours?
We aim to match supplied colour references as closely as the material allows. Painted, vinyl-faced and natural finishes behave differently, so we discuss options before production.
